Educator, Parent, Life-long Learner and Professional Development Consultant
I am Holland Poulsen- a parent, a teacher and an education consultant living in Missouri City, a suburb of Houston, Texas. I am a native Houstonian who returned to my hometown and began teaching in Alief ISD after graduating from Texas Tech University. When my children began middle school, after 21 years working in school districts, my career took a different path and I became an education consultant. I work with school districts along with individual campuses and teams providing professional development to teachers and campus/district leaders in order to create engaging classrooms where teachers differentiate based on the needs of the students and always keep "kids first." My 16 year old triplets attend school in Fort Bend ISD and are currently involved in a variety of school related activities including National Art Honor Society, Theatre and Dance.
